History
The idea that is now the Run for Vaughan was first thought out in 2003. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Vaughan decided that creating this event would be a wonderful way to bring the entire community together for a wonderful cause the Future Vaughan Hospital!
The Run has garnered support from all levels of Government, from various businesses and citizens of Vaughan and the Greater Toronto area. The event has become a great success over a short period of time. The event attracts close to 1000 participants each year and collectively over the last 6 Runs, we have been able to forward approximately $250,000 to $300,000 to the Vaughan Health Care Foundation!
Our Goal is to turn the Run for Vaughan into a premier Running Event and Fundraiser for the Future Vaughan Hospital.
